Terms & Conditions of booking - including information related to Covid-19:
Kindly arrive promptly for your appointment - I will meet you 5 minutes before your appointment time in the car park.
Late arrival may eat into your treatment time.
If for any reason outside of my control I am running behind I will notify you as soon as possible.
You will be required to wear a mask/face covering for your time on the premises and to wash or sanitise your hands on arrival and leaving.
Kindly do not attend for an appointment under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
No other services are provided other than those listed on my website.
Payment can be made via paypal prior to appointment or in person at the appointment.
I value your time and in the unlikely event that I need to cancel your appointment I will give you as much notice as possible, however during the Covid-19 pandemic, should I have a raised temperature on the day of your appointment or be feeling unwell with any of the symptoms of the virus, this may mean that I will have to cancel at late notice to protect you and your contacts.
I would ask that if you need to cancel an appointment you give me a minimum of 24 hours notice so that I can offer the time to another client. However, for a raised temperature or any Covid symptoms (or just feeling generally unwell) that may arise on the day of your appointment I accept that cancellation on the day may be necessary.
For cancellations within 24 hours of an appointment that aren't Covid/illness related or other emergency situations then full payment will be requested as it's very difficult to offer the appointment to someone else at such late notice.
If you are unable to attend your appointment it may or may not be possible to send somebody else in your place, kindly contact Robyn first to enquire.
General Data Protection
General Data Protection (GDPR) is new legal protection for personal information from May 2018.
If you provide any sensitive medical/health information to me via email, text, phone conversation or social media messenger services, I will only hold and use this if we proceed to treatment. If we do not proceed to treatment I will securely destroy all information sent..
The Purpose of Processing Client Data
In order to give professional massage & reflexology treatments, I will need to gather and retain information about your health and well-being. I will only use this information for informing massage & reflexology treatments and associated recommendations concerning aspects of health and well-being. Any records kept are stored for 7 years after your last appointment. Paper records may possibly moved off site into secure storage and securely destroyed after 7 years of storage where a certificate of destruction will be provided to me.

What personal data I collect
My massage, reflexology and facial clients and those who enquire about treatments, book treatments and complete consultation forms.

I collect the following data from you:
I collect information from you when you contact me via email, text or phone and make a booking online or in person.
When you book online I collect your First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Email Address, Mobile Phone Number and any comments that you add to the booking. (Online booking currently unavailable).
You will then be emailed from me, via a third party server, Cliniko, with a welcome email and links to your forms which are completed and stored on the Clinko server. Reminder emails and SMS messages are also sent via Cliniko. I use 2 factor authentication to access your information in Cliniko. Your completed forms and any notes from an appointment with me are all stored within Cliniko. (Unavailable at present).
Any paper notes are kept under lock and key on my premises or may at some point in the future be moved into secure storage.
I use a third-party service, Google Analytics on my website. From this I may collect certain information about your visit, such as the type of browser you use, the date and time you accessed the website, the pages that you access whilst visiting the website and the internet address of the website from which you linked directly to this website. I only use this information for statistical analysis purposes, to help improve and administer the website and it will not be shared with any other party. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. I do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting my website.
I collect your email address if you subscribe to receive my newsletter. This is managed by myself. Your email address is not shared with any other party. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting Robyn Alston on the contact details on this website.
When completing your initial consultation, you will be prompted to select your marketing preferences if any.

I am committed to ensuring your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, I have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures in place to safeguard and secure the information I collect online.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks. When you place orders for a gift voucher, I use third-party website PayPal to process the transactions securely.

I use Cliniko to process my appointment bookings, cancellations and rescheduling current or subsequent appointments. I also use Cliniko to send out email confirmations and reminders. Cliniko emails will have a link to consultation and screening forms. Once these are completed and submitted they are stored within Cliniko, as are any client appointment notes made.
Stripe: (Currnelty unavailable)
If you choose to make payment for an appointment when booking online, Cliniko will process the payment through Stripe.
I also use third-party cookies.
These are installed by third parties (including Google Analytics) with the aim of collecting information to carry out research into the behaviour and demographics of visitors to my website. I do not gather personal information which could be used to identify visitors or their personal data.

If you have submitted a testimonial to be published on my website and you would like to remove it, please email email@example.com stating the testimonial you would like to remove. This testimonial will then be removed for you within 14 days of your request.
If you email firstname.lastname@example.org to enquire about booking a massage or reflexology appointment and we do not work together, your details will be securely destroyed.
I will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless I have your express permission or required by law to do so.
